Aims

The BLDSA has 3 main aims:

1. To facilitate, promote and further long distance swimming in a safe and
   secure environment in the UK.
2. To maintain our ethos of being a friendly organisation ‘open-to-all’ run
   at its heart by a group of enthusiastic volunteers.
3. To strive to accommodate the requirements of non-wetsuit and wetsuit
   swimmers through the provision of a variety of challenging events in
   different locations.
