Following a number of suggestions (and Covid) regarding the AGM and Annual Dinner, things will be done entirely differently in 2022!
All the proceedings will be carried out on the SAME day –
Saturday 12th March 2022
The general itinerary will be as follows:
Followed by a short trophy presentation (some trophies had no entrants in their categories)
6.30 pm for 7.00 pm
A booking has been made for an informal sit down meal. There will be no guest speakers, toasts or presentations.
This is an opportunity for us all simply to enjoy a meal with friends and have a get together to eat, socialise and mingle.
This will all take place at Brathay Hall in Ambleside (LA22 0HP).
For those wishing to stay overnight, there are limited rooms available and I would strongly suggest booking straight away if you wish to stay on site. Obviously, Ambleside has lots of alternative places to stay if you prefer.
The room rates are from £85 to £120 per night with a £10 per person charge for breakfast. Rooms are to be booked direct
There are also 2 self-catering cottages available which can sleep 4 or 6 people (Treglown Lodge – £250 for 4 or Orchard Cottage – £350 for 6 although this does include 2 bunk beds!)
Dinner tickets will be priced at £35.00 per person and can be purchased via the Website.
These tickets are non-refundable.
SUNDAY 13TH MARCH 2022
Brathay Hall is situated on the banks of Windermere and a five minute walk down a gravel path brings you directly to the water’s edge where a refreshing swim can take place for those brave enough and crazy enough to want to do that!
This venue has a limited capacity so early booking is advised and Ticket applications must be received no later than Saturday 12th February 2022 unless sold out earlier.
