This event requires the swimmer to provide their own kayak and crew to support them during the swim, UNLESS you have selected the BLDSA to supply the kayak and crew. The kayak must be fitted with a “flag alpha” to be SUPPLIED BY THE SWIMMER REGARDLESS OF WHO IS SUPPLYING THE KAYAK. please see all other rules for swimmers. All rules must be followed or you will NOT be allowed to swim and no refund will be made.

Kayak Support

Swimmers must have a kayak escorting them for this event, the kayaker must be experienced in rough waters and head wind conditions and ideally should have a BCU 2 star award.
